A Great Halloween

Halloween was a lot of fun!!! We went to a carnival at my school and had our first taste of candy, much to Papa's dismay. We had sucker all over our hands, face, and hair - but we had fun. We returned home for a nap - and then it was time for trick-or-treating with cousin Seth. I had a cow outfit for Sutton (as well as a spiderman outfit), but after Aunt Lillie visited, we had a cow and a horse outfit. I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to dress the boys in a cow and horse outfit - so away we went. We stopped at GRanny's house first - said "trick-or-treat" and then ran in the house to chase her dog, Bella. After playing a bit, we left to go to Aunt Helen's house. We had fun there and then were off to Aunt Phyllis' house. She had a dog as well, and since we had been in everyone else's house, we decided to try to break in to her home as well. She had great candy, and we got to see her little puppy. Then it was off to a few more houses - we tried to get into to all of the homes because we just did not understand the concept of saying "Trick-or-Treat", getting candy, and getting back in the car. The boys wanted to stay a while!! After a full night of fun, we were full of candy and ready to go back home. All in all, it was a great night, although I do not believe that the boys understood the Halloween concept - but, they had fun! The next day, I let the boys have their back-up costume (Spiderman) - they were able to run around like Spiderman (another person they have not concept of) - but, once again - they had fun.
