15 days to go..... and counting

Well, we continue to do well - but are counting down the days until we return home. It seems like we have been here forever. The boys are getting bored - and so are we - The only thing saving us are our walks each morning and afternoon. The boys don't care if we play or not outside, as long as we walk (or stroll if you ask Sawyer). He has become quite accustomed to the stroller and does not fight it at all. The whole time we walk, Sutton is talking to himself and Sawyer sings to himself - so I think they enjoy it.

Today, we did a clothes inventory. The boys are frustrated with their clothes that seem too big. So, we went in the bedroom and tried on our outfits. If they are too big for Sutton, then we put them in the suitcase. If they were too big for Sawyer, then we had Sutton try it on (and it usually fit). So, in the end, we have several outfits that fit Sutton and only 2 left that will fit Sawyer. So, Momma is going to do some wash - because there are only 2 outfits in the dirty clothes that fit Sawyer and we need them.

The boys just woke up from nap. Bryan got them up by saying, "who wants numnum" (his word for snack). That, of course, woke up Sawyer right away - It took a while for Sutton who has realized that a little passive agressive goes a long way. It is fun to see their personalities. Sawyer is quick to cry when frustrated, but he LOVES to eat - that is when he is happiest. He is also so much fun when he wakes up - I have never seen someone so happy after nap and in the morning. Sutton is a bit different. He seems to be a thinker. He likes to wake up slow - and although he is not fussy when waking up, he is not real energetic either. He has also realized that a little whining and crying might help his case. Today, he wanted to sleep with his toys - but Momma would not let him, so he cried for a while until she got him some stuffed animals to sleep with. When trying on clothes, he found a pair of pants that he really liked. He did not want to take them off, so he acted like a limp rag doll while Papa changed him - something that he is very capable of doing himself.

So, this gives you a glimpse into our mundane life for right now. We hope to blog again on Friday - I am trying to only blog every 2 days to save up our internet cards. All is well here - and I hope it is at home as well. Love to all!
